Camphill Hudson is part of the worldwide Camphill movement, an international movement of intentional communities designed to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities through a combination of community life, the arts and supporting each other.
House Manager (live-in position) Camphill Hudson is seeking a compassionate House Manager. This is a live-in position. This full-time position is responsible for the overall management of the care of five (5) residents, a team of staff/coworkers, and the two houses they live in.
To qualify, you must have:
One year of prior supervisory experience.
Two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A valid driver’s license.
Preference: A prior Camphill experience or practice of Anthroposophy. Live-in Residential Coworkers: The coworkers support the House Manager in the care of the residents and the upkeep of the houses. This shared home is a women-majority household. Residential Coworkers are provided board and lodging in a shared-home with the residents and receive a monthly stipend.
